From the creation of BADR-Clair de lune , it was obvious that respect for the environment and reducing our carbon footprint had to be at the heart of our approach.

Our priorities: staying as close as possible to ecological requirements, offering you products that are both healthy and attractive, and promoting the shortest possible economic cycle.

It all starts with the choice of raw materials.

The fabric you wear next to your skin must be of impeccable quality. That's why we've opted for natural materials like cotton, linen, silk, wool, and innovative fibers like hemp, nettle, and bamboo.

For our first collection, we chose 100% organic, unbleached cotton. This organic cotton is not only more environmentally friendly, consuming less water than traditional cotton, but also healthier for you, as it is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The production of this cotton follows strict standards, certified by recognized labels.

And what about dyeing?

Here again, we demanded a process that respects the environment and your health. That's why we opted for the GOTS label, which is the only certification guaranteeing a textile process that is ecological, ethical, and responsible, from fiber to dye.

But it doesn't stop there.

Our fabric is made in Portugal by a partner committed to eco-responsible production, adhering to GOTS certification. For its production, we naturally chose Tunisia, a country we know well, located close to France. We collaborate with a family-owned factory with whom we maintain close and trusting relationships.
